What is movi?

We’re a software platform that is changing the way organizations handle non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) for the better. Have you heard of these things called “landlines” and “faxes”? 1995 called and wants their tech back, amirite?

We started our journey in 2017 and have been organically expanding through the skilled nursing market and are rolling out across the country. Our platform has been validated as an ecosystem with value add to ALL participants in the business process. This translates into expanding our current offerings while also creating new ones. Post pandemic there is an even bigger need for health organizations to manage their own transportation which includes their own assets.

The current positions we are looking to fill are:

• Junior Engineers, it’s all good…you’ll learn fast!
• Mid-level Engineer, 3+ years…grow into that Senior Engineer!

Desired Experience:

• Typescript
• Node.js
• Angular
• Nx builds and monorepos
• MongoDB (or other NoSQL)
• Relational databases
• RESTful API design and development
• Chai, Mocha, Jest, TDD
• Storybook
• ECS, SQS, S3, Docker, Linux/UNIX, CI/CD Tools exposure
• Excellent problem solving, creative thinking and self-motivation skills
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people
• Associates or B.S Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent required…or you didn’t waste money on school but have a lot of real world experience.

• Take ownership and 🐝 your own keeper. We ain’t got time to micromanage you. Take the baton and run with it, but also know when to ask for help
• Good sense of humor
• Boringly serious
• Understanding sarcasm
• Previous healthcare and HIPAA experience
• You like database queries…even Mongo aggregates 😜
• Nuanced experience in;
  • Route Optimization/Transportation
  • Medical system integration
  • Insurance/Medical billing
  • FHIR and SMART on FHIR
